Extra-Corporeal Shock Wave Therapy

Shock wave is a non-invasive therapeutic tool for horses affected with chronic pain, lameness, slow healing injuries/lesions, orthose that have not responded to other treatment modalities. Shock wave can also be used as an adjunctive therapy to other treatments. It can be used on both soft tissue and bony structures, and is performed on an outpatient basis with treatments lasting approximately 10-15minutes.
